Frequently asked questionsWhich software programs do you teach? Our trainers specialize in Adobe software products. Take a look at our Course Catalog for a summary of the programs we offer, or click on one of the links on the right to view a detailed syllabus for each class. What is provided for each student in class? Each student is provided with their own machine for working on exercises in class. GRAFIX uses official software manufacturer training materials, and the student will take home all written materials handed out in class. Do you provide any technical support after the class is over? GRAFIX provides technical support for material covered in class for a period of 6 months. Please call us at 714/960-6840, or email us. Please have your course dates ready, and email us any files necessary to illustrate your problem. Do you offer private or specialized training? Of course ... that's the "Consulting" part of GRAFIX Training and Consulting. Go to our Consulting Services section to get information about individualized training, template or EDD development, and more. What does being an Adobe Authorized Training Center mean? An Adobe Authorized Training Center (AATC) is a training organization that has met Adobe's strict AATC program requirements, including using Adobe Certified Instructors, and maintaining regular schedules and facilities. Adobe promotes AATC's to customers who need training on Adobe software. What are the requirements for becoming an AATC? We use only Adobe Certified Experts to teach Adobe software classes. In addition to certification, instructors must also satisfy a verification of instructor skills by submitting one of the following:
We have full-time classrooms operating in San Diego and Orange County, California. To find out when classes are being offered at each location, you can take a look at our Schedule or visit the page of the specific program you want training in. In addition to our permanent classrooms, GRAFIX will also send trainers to you! We have provided training throughout North America. To find out more about on-site training, visit our Consulting Services section or just contact us directly. How much do your classes cost? Each class has its own pricing structure. Use the links on the right-hand column to jump to the class you are interested in. Take a look at our class schedule, which has a summary of all courses offered for both San Diego and Costa Mesa classrooms. You can also use the links on the right-hand column to see when each individual program is offered. How do I register for classes? Just contact us, and we will arrange everything. What platform do you use for the computers in class? Each student has the choice of a Windows or Macintosh machine to use in the class exercises. Do you offer "accelerated" classes? In certain circumstances, we will accelerate a 4-day class into a 3-day class, based on the skill level of the students coming into class. Accelerated classes are limited to 3 students, and cost the same as normal 4-day classes. If you are interested in the accelerated version of a class, please mention this at the time of registration. What methods of payment do you accept? Reservations are not final until receipt of payment. All students must have payment arrangements finalized prior to the start of class. The following are acceptable methods of payment.
What is your cancellation policy? Stated on all invoices, Cancelations with reasonable notice are charged a nominal admin fee. Last-minute cancelations are eligible for a retake upon paying a small admin fee. What is your guaranteed satisfaction policy? GRAFIX Training and Consulting makes every attempt to ensure the quality of our facilities and our instructors. Any student who feels the instruction did not meet the standards outlined in the course syllabus is encouraged to retake the class with any of our available instructors at no additional expense.
